smoke alarm/detector with no battery chirp USA (piefed.social)

My least favorite noise is the low battery chirp that normal smoke detectors emit when low at night. I'm looking to replace my 8 hardwired smoke alarms with new ones that don't have that. I just moved and miss my nest protects only bc this sound doesn't happen. I've read that protects have been discontinued and replaced with these sc5's from first alert . Since I've degoogled I don't really need the "protect integration"

So I need hardwired interconnects (US law afaik bc existing are hardwired) but mostly would like the voice alerts and no battery chirp. I've read that xsense is fairly decent but these new ones that have the voice alerts don't appear to be UL certified so that's a no-go, unless I've just missed it.

I was looking at the anyplace alarms as I saw them in another thread, but can't tell if the low battery notification is a chirp or not? Anyone had any experience with these? They also appear to be out of stock on home depot so no idea if/when they'll be available.

I'm open to all options that are hardwired.

ETA: I've reached out to x-sense to see if the XP0J-SA is UL/ETL certified. I'm waiting to hear back

I just went through this battle and ended up ordering a set of sensereo MS-1 (matter over thread and home assistant ready) to replace the battery-only detectors in our basement. Our main floor is nest protect hard-wired.

While this product isn't UL certified, it is EN certified and the functional difference seems to be 85db at 3m vs 10ft. And their website says they're working on a UL certified model.

They do have a hard-wired interlink model too: https://sensereo.com/ms-1-interlink/ but that's smoke only. And again EN certified but not UL.

But at least it's an alternative to the x-sense products.

The reviews of the official replacement (FA SC-5) are mixed to awful.

We had a protect die with like 5 years of EoL left, and got the SC5 (wired). It's fine, but it should be like a third of the price. Beyond nest compatability, it's a basic fucking detector that appears to use a modified protect shell with shitty components, comparatively. But I didn't have time to look at other options, so I figured I'd try it.

Their app is outsourced too, connecting to a different company's aws east server, which I had to whitelist on my DNS. The app is trash, and it's stupid that you need it for setup - they should have just made it 'press this, chirp for connected'. The app tries hard to get you into their (or the outsourced company, I'm not sure) ecosystem. It's fine, but it's not good.

After installing I looked at alternatives for next time one dies, and for the US/NA market, Home Assistant compatability + interlink + dual smoke and co2 + being zigbee/z-wave/matter just doesn't exist. Which sucks, the protects are great (ignoring the fact that they seem to die early for me, that's the fourth unit that failed prematurely in the last decade). So unless someone makes one that checks all the boxes for me, I think I'll have to buy another from first alert.

Yes the MSC-1 is battery only. There is another part number that is smoke only and interlink/hardwired.

Thanks for the UL link, I was looking for some way to search for those briefly.
Edit: I didn't see the XP0J-SA listed in any of those unfortunately

this part from their website is for the MS-1 interlink product page, so I think those are still battery only unfortunately.
