What about Reagan?
Just think that in ten to twenty years, Trump is going to join the idiot right wing pantheon with Reagan. Once the literal and figurative stink of the him fades a bit, they’ll be naming airports and things after him in earnest.
Well, the shithole state of Florida already renamed PBI to DJT...

When this is over, we have to pass a law making it illegal to name anything after Donald Trump, with one exception: Sewage Treatment Plants. Then people who live nearby can say things like "Wow, Trump smells particularly bad today."
But seriously, we have to make sure nothing can ever be named after him.
Sewage treatment plants do a public service and are too good for his name.
Name dumps and waste hazards after him.
They’re both run by the heritage foundation.
Trump beats them all
Reagan was a horrible president, as in horrible for the country, but they were at least minimally competent.
Trump is not only stupid, but insists on surrounding himself with people as stupid as he is, with personal loyalty to Trump's ego (in the most servile sense) being by far the most important qualification, coming even before looking "good" on TV.
Reagan was constrained by wanting the United States to maintain its military and economic superiority. Trump is unconstrained by anything other than feeling personally important.
His random and capricious trade wars are absolutely destroying the US economy--capital is absolutely beginning to flee from the United States; even domestic manufacturers are choosing Canada over more investments in a country that is going to have supply line issues.
Meanwhile, the Iran war has torpedoed the US military presence in the Middle East, endangered all our vassal states, and its only a matter of time before the petrodollar, the cornerstone of our economic prosperity, disappears.
I am not a fan of Reagan, but I challenge you to find anything he did that is immediately and obviously bad for the United States as a superpower as what Trump has been doing.
Not even close.
I'm sure Reagan deserves a lot of the criticism and he was possibly in early stage Alzheimer's in his second term. However I mostly remember him being the president in charge when the cold war ended and Eastern Europe was finally liberated.
He had nothing to do with that. In fact, every intelligence source in the world was taken by surprise when the Soviet Union not only fell, but also that it happened so quickly, and with fairly little bloodshed. NOBODY saw it coming.
It happened on his watch, but not because of him, but Conservatives like to take credit anyway.
