All my teachers in school hated me for this lol
you had really bad teachers. any teacher worth their profession should be overjoyed when student questions things
They should, but it varies case by case. Some really do get pissed off, when they feel like you are questioning their authority/intelligence/skills/etc. and do not realize you are just interested in the "why"s.
Teachers are just humans.
Yea whatever, fuck them. I always hated school because of this. I completely understand teachers' plight and all that stuff. It's hard to manage 60 kids n stuff (we had 60 kids per class in the country I grew up in), but still... Treating children like thoughtless, desireless, subhuman entities is one of the greatest tragedies occurring that society is highly blind to.
