A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.
This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.

I have several including people trying to tell me how good they are self-taught and never have printed or know how to properly print. It's the same ones that think by just clicking the black and white or a monochrome button that they know how to properly make, or edit, a black and white photo. Gear junkies, working for free is another. Extreme editing, over glossed, over saturated color, over editing in general. Using limited run or limited production films when they can't even use one film right to begin with consistantly. Making thirst trap content with a model that stays in one spot with about 30-50 different poses as a "set". Thinking that only photographing beautiful people makes you a great photographer. I'm probably missing some but this it for now, I wrote enough.
