I don’t think they’re taking a WR at 1. If they want him and not a QB they’ll happily trade back for a spot or 2 with the Giants or Patriots and take a few extra picks to let them take their QB and then MHJr will still be available

Keyshawn went #1, it can happen

I think MHJ is simply too good to pass up on. I also doubt the Bears resign Mooney, leaving a big hole for another WR

mooney is going to ask for way too much for a WR3

Not with the season he’s having.

We saw this last year. That isn’t going to happen.

If anything we pull a Texans and take MHJ and then trade with the Cardinals for the 2nd overall pick to take a QB.

Or the more likely scenario is that the Bears trade back, QBs go 1 and 2, and then they take MHJr and the best OL on the board at 3 and whatever pick they get when trading back

Lmao your not risking passing on your QB and picking a WR, then there’s going to be a bidding war for the cards pick for the #1 QB and bears don’t have enough capital to outbid the giants or pats.

they might still like Fields. Or at least, Fields more than Caleb or Maye

The cardinals will rob the bears blind if they try this strategy
