Not like black Friday sales have been worth shit since COVID anyway.
Or ever. I’ve never seen anything but chaos on Black Friday. It’s crafted to push impulse purchases for the sake of a “crazy deal”
Eh, I do remember them being very worthwhile back in ye olden days. I remember my parents getting an amazing looking plasma TV back in maybe 2009-2010 era for south of $150 on a black friday deal, back when flat screens were still exorbitantly expensive in most cases. Same for computers and a lot of toys too.
Now it's all like "we just raised our prices last week, now there's 5% off WOWWEEE!
Even back then, they would only stock a handful of the sale items, so you had to be lucky or aggressive to get one. If you missed out, though, they had this much more expensive item they just jacked up the price on you could buy instead.
