Now, that said, let's revisit an 18-game-season and adding a game to...Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. But not Saturday. Players deserve some rest. We want to look out for players' safety after all.
Isn’t the saturday thing college football related (and why saturday games start after the college season ends?)
Additionally, tuesday/Wednesday are outliers and only happened when extenuating circumstances caused a sunday/monday game to be postponed.
NFL might as well take up the Baseball scheldue then.
I know you’re joking but I honestly expect the NFL to challenge the court ruling soon.
The idea behind them not being allowed to play Friday / Saturday was protecting amateur sports slots, but with college and even HS players in some states openly allowed to make big money I think the NFL would actually have an argument in court that especially CFB isn’t amateur anymore
