A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.

This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.

Had senior photos taken by a student who does photography on the side and is trying to build her photography business. Was told I’d receive the photos by Thanksgiving. On Thanksgiving, no pictures came. Was then told I’d get the photos by Sunday (today). No photos. Was told she’d send me “a few” tonight but haven’t even received those. I already paid her when we did the photo shoot. What should I do now? I don’t want to come off as impatient, but my graduation is in a few weeks and I was given 2 dates that she failed to meet.

If there's no contact you got no legal recourse. I'd level with her.

"Look, you missed two deadlines. Give me another one but give me a real deadline you're comfortable with, not one you think I want to hear. I just want my photos and you're I see you're busy so let's agree on a date and time you can deliver these photos to me."

Then it's on her if she doesn't deliver instead of you feeling like an ass for pestering her. It's on her for the previous missed deadlines but look at this kind of conversation as a restart. Nothing before matters.
