A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.

This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.

Had senior photos taken by a student who does photography on the side and is trying to build her photography business. Was told I’d receive the photos by Thanksgiving. On Thanksgiving, no pictures came. Was then told I’d get the photos by Sunday (today). No photos. Was told she’d send me “a few” tonight but haven’t even received those. I already paid her when we did the photo shoot. What should I do now? I don’t want to come off as impatient, but my graduation is in a few weeks and I was given 2 dates that she failed to meet.

I understand that the holidays are a busy time, work and family obligations and all,

I also understand that editing can take a lot of time, and even experienced editors can get overwhelmed;

If you honestly aren't able to get around to the pictures before [REASONABLE DATE], would it be possible to get the unedited pictures in the interim, just for peace of mind so we both won't be stressing about them?

I would still appreciate seeing your full vision come to fruition when you have time to do the editing, though.

Best of luck

[ I can already hear the hellfires Roar for suggesting that somebody send unedited pictures in the interim X0 ]
