Defending champs are usually given the benefit of the doubt even though repeating a championship hasn’t happened in a long time

Well we are the defending champs lol. Before this, the Nuggets didnt have the playoff success that the Celtics and Bucks had, but now they are the defending champs and havent lost a game at home and only lost 1 in total before the Jamal injury
