Why is Steph almost unanimously considered better than KD right now? (alien.top)

On every ranking and tier list Steph is put above KD. Why is that? Here are their stats since the start of last season

KD: 29.6/6.8/5.1 on 67.2% TS

Steph: 29.5/5.8/5.8 on 66.1% TS

KD has been playing just as well as Steph (arguably better) but he doesn’t ever rated higher. Why?

He always has been. Even when they were in the same team, it was always Steph’s team.

It was def KD's team. 2 fMVPs and some of their players even said he was the best player on the team.

They won a chip before him and after him. The season before that team broke the record for most wins in regular season history. They also knocked KD out of the playoffs that year. They would have won the finals that year too if lebron and kyrie didn’t put on one the greatest finals performances in nba history. KD was a complimentary piece but you did not watch the game if you actually thought it was KDs team.

they broke the regular season record, but still ended up losing that season. How does a complimentary piece win fMVP? lol. explain that one to me. guys like Klay said he was the best player on the team, but apparently you know better than Klay?
