The Clippers are now 4-7 since trading for Harden, or 0-1 in his "ready" state.

Memes aside, he was okay this game, but okay isn't good enough when you're with a fully healthy Clippers vs a Reggie Jackson-led Nuggets.

Harden isn't exactly playing terribly as a Clippers, but at this point in his career, it's hard to justify an offence-first player on a team as offensively stacked as the Clippers when they're in desperate need of some more off-ball movement.

Harden is looking to secure a max extension, we'll have to see what kind of contract he can muster as he gets more into game shape as the season progresses.

Forget the max contract..judging by his play rn, he ain't securing a league minimum

Someone's going to sign the name of Harden to a contract far excessive of what player Harden is worth, but it won't be a max

If the Clippers decide not to re-sign him, then he'll probably have to settle for the MLE, as the only teams with the cap space to offer him more are going to be bad teams that are rebuilding and who probably won't want to commit a bunch of money to a 35 year old diva who is more likely to cause drama by demanding a trade than helping to develop their young players.

So if someone is going to give him a contract that's much larger than what Harden is worth, it's almost surely going to be the Clippers.

Harden was going to the rockets before they rejected him and became good: he’s absolutely not giving a shit about competing anymore n just wants the bag

"Please somebody give me hundreds of millions of dollars! I have thousands of strippers to put through college!"

Tbh we have a lot of cap space next year since tobi is expiring lol. I don't think we jump on the harden rodeo again, nor does he want to jump on the Morey train but all of our players still really liked him and sang his praises and still do really. If a contender can figure out a way to get Harden on a high value contract and run the bench unit, he would probably flourish. He's no longer good enough to be "the guy" in a starting lineup, but would probably kill it as a 6th man if he could buy into that role.

I left out the Sixers cause I simply do not see any chance where Morey and Harden join up again. It would be hilarious if Harden had to slink back to Philly on the cheap after all the shit he pulled though lol

Are you high? Harden is still value at like $15m a year.

He's a specific type of player, and you can't build an offence around him.. He might hate that, but he also likes money so he'd accept it.

I know it's fuck harden szn but alot of it is because he still values himself as a top 30 guy.

He's definitely a min guy.

He’s worth more then 15 million lol

There are currently 100 players making more then 15 million a year

Can't believe he lost out on 250 million dollars by refusing to sign the max extension, then not taking the player option with the 76ers so they could sign PJ. Oof. His lack of effort, hustle on defense is exposed, he doesn't move or cut without the ball, he doesn't set picks for his teammates, he doesn't have the athleticism to drive to the basket as often. He's completely washed.
