A ranking of the semifinalists by PFR's HOF Monitor, which estimates the strength of a player's chances of eventually being a HOF inductee:

Wilfork played the ultimate "impact doesn't show up on the box score" position.
He'd eat up 2 blockers at a time and still move them out of the way allowing easier tackles for other players.
Just that top 5. Just put them in. Get 2 receivers to help the backlog. Done.
how is Darren Woodson not on this list? Dude was a stud, brilliant in coverage and run support.
I find it interesting that Robert Mathis has made it to the semifinalist stage three times already and John Abraham has had zero HOF momentum since he retired. The awards, the sacks, the approximate value, and the overall career impact all lean toward Abraham
Switch Hines Ward with Devin Hester and all is good.
