Even in the best case scenario for Nübel (him playing great and Neuer performing badly after coming back), Neuer wouldn't have simply accepted the situation. He surely would have tried to influence the media (like he did with his accident), the trainer or Uli to put him back in charge.

So what? Performance counts at our club. If someone else performs better, he plays.
