Here are a few ideas to spice it up:

  • 8 games instead of 4 spread across Nov - December, home and home each team

  • Tournament starts before new year, finals in the first week of January

  • Finals held at home of the team with the better record or +/-

  • Final 4 teams, guarantee entry into play-in/playoffs

This will create added excitement and will keep it lasting into the new year!

Than from this, we have a month to look forward to All Star weekend. Than after that, the NBA Playoffs.

head 2 head should not be the primary tiebreaker. No round robin system uses this. No one game in group play should mean more than any other.
