Maybe we'll be saved by this upcoming generations desire to post everything including hateful content like this.
By the time they realize what it means, their true colors will be permanently recorded and we can pressure them out like this.
The only way you get by what this guy did is to have years of follow up history showing they've moved past it.

Hard to have years of anything when he last did it a year ago.
Well then, let's check back in a decade
Hopefully he does move past it by becoming a legitimate ally of his local lgbt groups
That is always the hope.
An event like this can often be enough to reasses your values.
But the choice you make at this point is probably going to be a long standing, unlikely to change anytime soon one.
