Why remake movies that are already good?
Because they are out of ideas?
They can update the production quality. The story is good; the special effects and costumes are hella dated and cheesy though. The TNG episode homage to it looks better.
I know there was an Enterprise episode that was almost the same, I forget the TNG one though. Do you remember the name/ep number?
Shaka... When the walls fell. 😩
(I don't remember the episode name; but it's that one)
Ahh yeah darmok! One of my favorites. Its definitely got inspiration from it
I thought the poster meant S3E07 "The Enemy", but seems it's S5E02 "Darmok".
They are more likely referring to Dawn (s2e13 Enterprise). The plot is similar to Enemy Mine and Zhokaan kind of looks like Lou Gossett Jr.
Yeah this is the only one I could remember that was a true homage to it.
Wasn't there also a battle star Galactica episode as well?
Not sure, I really need to watch more of it. That and Stargate, im behind on
Found it. It was the last episode of of the 1980 spinoff.
