I would damn well hope so. 7.2 million at least under Biden. Thats straight up dereliction of duty.
I always love when we dehumanized people trying to make their lives better.
That's all conservatives know how to do. They're cruel people with only cruelty to offer. Let them display otherwise and prove me wrong. They can't.
Dont cross illegally, simple as.
It's not illegal to cross if you're seeking asylum
Yes it is, its two seperate acts. Illegally crossing is illegal. Seeking asylum is nor.
It is literally the only option if you want your case processed in less than 10 years. Don't act like the immigration system works, it's broken, intentionally broken to get these results.
Its overwhwlmed, a fifth of the worlds immigrants. What on earth do you expect?
What percentage of the world's prisoners is America able to handle and profit off of?
America holds approximately 20% of the world's prisoners despite making up only around 5% of the global population[1][5].

Hmm yes because crossing legally is so easy
So what if it isnt?
Have you ever broken the speed limit? Because crossing the U.S. border illegally is a civil violation, not a crime, as is breaking the speed limit. So you're the safest driver in the world, right? Either that or you might be a bit hypocritical.
As long as it's not you that's fleeing a war torn country, or extreme poverty who cares, am I right?
There’s a legal route that does not involve border hopping.
Ah right, it couldn't possibly be people are entering the country "illegally" because the process to get into the country takes forever, and is broken. Always their own fault am a i right?
Edit: Here an article about a specific case of legal asylum. They applied for it, and are still waiting to get approved for a work application, and don't have a court date for asylum until 2026, and that's if they even get approved for all this. So you tell me, would you wait 3-4 years for a process to play out while you could get shipped back to a place you don't feel safe?
