A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.

Rules

  1. All posts must be showerthoughts
  2. The entire showerthought must be in the title
  3. Avoid politics
    1. NEW RULE as of 5 Nov 2024, trying it out
    2. Political posts often end up being circle jerks (not offering unique perspective) or enflaming (too much work for mods).
    3. Try c/politicaldiscussion, volunteer as a mod here, or start your own community.
  4. Posts must be original/unique

Let's say Sunday is NoPo day, for example. I think we'd all be in a better mood that day.

No, this doesn't have any baring whatsoever on what country you're from.

If your response to this shower thought is a four paragraph rage you are already lost. Why are you in showerthoughts?

No, this does not have anything to do with subscriptions or blocking communities.

If you're incapable of light jokes then no, you should not comment.

And finally, no, this is not a serious request post. I can't believe that needs to be explained for half the people here...

Holiday wish??? Dude. It's October! This is spooky season, then it's turkey season THEN holiday season!

My rule of thumb is that anyone who puts up christmas decorations before Black Friday is a massive asshole, who sucks dick.....but not very well. They use a lot of teeth in their blowjobs, because they have no sense of how things are supposed to be. They do things nobody wants.

That's why you gotta wait until black friday. For now, it's all about black cats, and murder. Blood is a decoration! Also, pumpkin spice.....for some reason....
