TenForward: Where Every Vulcan Knows Your Name
/c/TenFoward: Your home-away-from-home for all things Star Trek!
Re-route power to the shields, emit a tachyon pulse through the deflector, and post all the nonsense you want. Within reason of course.
~ 1. No bigotry. This is a Star Trek community. Remember that diversity and coexistence are Star Trek values. Any post/comments that are racist, anti-LGBT, or generally "othering" of a group will result in removal/ban.
~ 2. Keep it civil. Disagreements will happen both on lore and preferences. That's okay! Just don't let it make you forget that the person you are talking to is also a person.
~ 3. Use spoiler tags. This applies to any episodes that have dropped within 3 months prior of your posting. After that it's free game.
~ 4. Keep it Trek related. This one is kind of a gimme but keep as on topic as possible.
~ 5. Keep posts to a limit. We all love Star Trek stuff but 3-4 posts in an hour is plenty enough.
~ 6. Try to not repost. Mistakes happen, we get it! But try to not repost anything from within the past 1-2 months.
~ 7. No General AI Art. Posts of simple AI art do not 'inspire jamaharon'
~ **8. Political commentary is allowed, but please keep discussions civil. Read here for our community's expectations.
Fun will now commence.

Chekov, unless he’s the one taking the picture…
Poor Walter Koenig didn't get to be on TAS, for some reason.
TAS was already the most expensive animated series at the time due to all the big names reprising their roles. They had to draw the line somewhere.
A ton of the other voices were done by James Doohan because he had a real talent for that. I wish he was more well-known for it.
IMDB credits him as: Scott, Arex, Gabler, Clayton, Agmar, Aleek-Om, Ancient Insectoid, Aquan male, Ari bn Bem, Bates, Bell, Cadmar, Chuft Captain, Commander Thelin, Commodore Robert April, Commodore Robert Wesley, Domar, Dramian Supreme Prefect, Guardian of Forever, Human Miner, Karl Four, Kaz, Kol-Tai, Koloth, Kor, Korax, Kukulkan, Kzinti Flyer, Kzinti Telepath, Lt. Carver, Lt. Erikson, Lt. Kyle, Lucien, Magnetic Organism, Male Ursinoid Miner, Master Computer, Mendant of the Terratins, O'Shea, Orion Captain, Romulan Commander, Search party 7 Crewman, Sord, Stavos Keniclius 5, Tchar, Tom Markel, Transporter Chief, Vulcan Healer, Walking Bear, White Rabbit, Xerius
As someone who has done a lot of character VO, that just blows me away. That's Dawes Butler-level talent.
Edit: I was thinking about it just now. I never did a full season of a TV show or anything but the most characters I ever did for one project was six. Most of them were pirates. People think pirates mostly sound like Robert Newton in Treasure Island, or at least did before Johnny Depp, so coming up with five distinct pirate voices (plus a Chinese cook) was not easy. Also, I don't think the game ever actually got released.
Can he fly it all by himself? Why the hell are all the others even on the bridge?!
There’s enough automation that the ship probably flies itself from A to B for the most part; you only need a pilot/navigator to start, end, and change course.
The rest of them are there for insurance purposes.
