How do people feel about getting !196@lemmy.blahaj.zone ? Mods over there don't really seem cooperative, but it's not like it matters that much now?

It's quite reassuring about Lemmy and federation in general. Power tripping mods? Just move elsewhere in a few hours!

That's true, but what really impresses me is that the "new" 196 gained so much traction so quickly. Creating a new community is one thing, but so many people were immediately on board because they didn't like what the mods did to the "old" 196. Nobody was willing to take the mods' shit and that's very cool.
