OP conveniently omitting that detail suggests that popcorn may be in order.

I don’t want to doubt OP too hard, but yea, at least tell us what you said so we are not blindly siding with you
I agree with applying healthy skepticism to any and all stories. At the same time, I can't blame a recent Reddit refugee for not fully trusting Lemmy yet. They don't know the environment here. It makes sense for someone to be apprehensive about repeating a thing that just got them banned somewhere else.
But I hope OP feels comfortable enough here to share their story some day.
Probably just practical observations for how to improve things

I got a warning for upvoting a Luigi post (or a post that reddit deemed as "wrongthink"), the bot didn't say which sub or post that triggered it so it's kind of impossible to say for sure or even avoid getting banned from upvoting something they don't like.
Or a racist and violent tirade.
They’re all just baseless theories until they reveal what they actually said.
Does Reddit ban for racism ?
