Despite his defensive shortcomings, he’s shown elite shotmaking in the playoffs and is only 24. In my opinion, his ceiling is enormous. I can’t understand why people are praising the Warriors trading him for a 38 year old CP3.

Yes, his ceiling is enormous. But he has a lot to work on to reach it, and it wasn't clear he was going to work on it on the Warriors. Iguodala said of him, "I would tell him, ‘Jordan, it looks like you’re trying not to try. Do you know how much energy it takes to try to not to try?" If he decides to try--chiefly, to use his undeniable physical gifts to play defense, which he can do--then he can be great. But it seemed like he'd decided not to do that on the Warriors.
