This was a wild lob but it's progress, I'll take it lol
Rudy will never ever get any credit in this sub or the shitty NBA social media fans but that was a ridiculous catch as well
Yeah it was.
Tbh when Rudy makes an Ant lob, it's mostly because of Rudy imo. Ant throws crazy lobs lol 😂
The most wild part of this lob is that Rudy actually caught it.
The man has no hands. If he can actually do this consistently that would be amazing.
Nah Rudy can catch lobs at an elite level. The problem is when he’s going up for lobs and someone passes it to like his knees when he’s like 7’3 guy.
Honestly Donovan used to kill me because he did this all the time.
The only guys who had a consistent connection with Rudy were Conley, Ingles and Rubio, Donovan never seemed to have a great link with him passing wise and when he's running PnR consistently he's an easy 15ppg.
He developed a reputation as having bricks for hands but at his peak in Utah he was 15 and 15 with elite rim protection, not a lot of players in the league can get you that.
Also a 3x DPOY (could arguably have more) and I fully believe he's a Hall of Famer when he's done.
He's basically the modern Mutombo as a comp, who is in the HoF.
Tf did you get that from? He was always decent at catching lobs, the problem was that donovan mitchel and anthony edwarda were the ones throwing them
Yeah Ant is very bad at lobs and it sounds like he knows it based on what he told Coach Malone at the allstar game 😂
When KAT, Kyle, or Conley throw Rudy lobs, he usually if not always makes them
he can't dribble or catch passes on the floor. but gobert's able to catch those arcing passes with ease.
