BOX SCORE

Lakers starters played until halfway in the 3rd quarter. No Booker, no Beal, and Durant only played in the first half. Lakers bench was atrocious. Cam Reddish, Christian Wood, and Rui Hachimura combined for 7 points. Collectively they were a -93.

People complain about superteams, but we all really want superteams haha

i want superteams except when i personally do not like it

[–] jaycdillinger94@alien.top 1 points 2 years ago

That was me actually until my team got KD and Beal. You right we all do

We want multiple superteams. One team beating on all the others a la KD Warriors isnt fun.

Actually I kinda prefer an old school Spurs like team to face off against the super team like those spurs Heat Finals. One team with superstar free agents teaming up, and one team with chemistry and good fit and continuity playing unselfish basketball.

The Nuggets still exists too, but I'll call them a superteam because Jamal is gonna get his all star nod soon

Superteams are usually not just when a team has a lot of good players, but when superstars team up. Like KD going to golden state, or or Lebron taking his talents to Miami, or KG and Ray Allen going to Boston to join Paul Pierce.

Nas Utah’s too

i dont think home grown fits that

I understand the sentiment against teaming up, but Tim Duncan was a Doc Rivers decision away from teaming up in Orlando and then was fortunate enough to pair up with Kawhi for his last runs. A lot of luck there. The reason super teams form in the first place is to beat the insanely well constructed teams like the Spurs and the Warriors.

We also move the needle a lot on what constitutes a super team. Cleveland had 3 perennial allstars on the same team but the KD warriors were just a league above them so they rarely get the super team stamp — in most other years a team with Bron/Kyrie/K Love is considered a super team

Imagine instead of Kevin Love or on top of it the Cavs had Jimmy Butler to go with Bron and Kyrie

Instant classic
