Has there ever been a "carry job" in terms of coaching in the NBA? (alien.top)

The team doesn't even have to have won the championship, but has a team in NBA history overachieved notably due to coaching? How did the coaching impact the team's rotations, player roles, defensive schemes, etc?

Cavs had an improved version of a team that had upset a 73 win team to win a title the year prior and would've repeated if not for the Warriors assembling the best roster of all time...
