I understand that teams in these contracts are paying for future production, not past production. If I’m going to give you like $100M, I’d like to have some past production. Patrick Williams has done some stuff, but like that’s just… if that’s the number, if that ends up being true and the Vassell deal ends up being the comp that his agents go to, that’s a lot of cheese.

Starting about 32 minutes into The Lowe Post.

What is his best accomplishment/game? How is he justifying that

[–] Dunlocke@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

He's tricked most of the Bulls sub into thinking he's a special player that can't break through because the offense doesn't run through him. It's really sad.

I really like his potential but seriously, whenever I watched the Bulls last season, he was invisible on offense. Some good defense but not enough for that type of contract.

[–] Sy6574@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

He’s not even an average starter

[–] drunz@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

He was one of the best defenders for 1 on 1 last year statistically

It's the Cam Reddish model but even further: Imagine what I could be.

Please don’t compare pat to cam , paw is actually good lmaooo

[–] Goobershmacked@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago (1 children)

Pat is at least a jack of all trades master of none player. Hes very useful. Not $200mill useful tho

[–] chitownbulls92@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

He's not a jack of all-trades....pretty far from it and thats the problem. He is a good shooter, he's athletic and can defend but for his size he is a horrendous rebounder, plays quieter than a church mouse and his BBIQ and playmaking is non-existent.

Bro heard the Kawhi comp and now he thinks he's him. He needs to be grounded.

Board man gets paid.

Theoretically elite 3nd wing with some shot creation chops aka he thinks he's Mikal Bridges so 40 mil a year over 5

[–] Swarthykins@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

In theory, he might be, though!

[–] UrRightAndIAmWong@alien.top 1 points 11 months ago

Take a look at Mikal Bridges' stats through his first two, three seasons.

I think they're different players in terms of style on both ends, but I can see Williams developing/taking off like Mikal.

And Williams has been injured while Bridges is an iron man, he's a bit bigger, and came into the league younger. Who knows?

i am also an elite 3&d, theoretically.

I'm just a D player.

The grade, not defense.
