I understand that teams in these contracts are paying for future production, not past production. If I’m going to give you like $100M, I’d like to have some past production. Patrick Williams has done some stuff, but like that’s just… if that’s the number, if that ends up being true and the Vassell deal ends up being the comp that his agents go to, that’s a lot of cheese.

Starting about 32 minutes into The Lowe Post.

Totally depends on how he looks this year. Absolutely nobody is giving him $100M+ for a 4th straight 10/5-ish season.

To get paid for potential you have to actually display you're making steps towards that potential.

If he justifies a 200M contract with his play this year we better be a top 4 seed. That's how ridiculous it sounds.

Top 3 tbh. If he plays like a $200 million player it wouldn't even be a debate.

Yeah if he becomes a superstar (which I HIGHLY doubt will happen) then we actually have a decent roster. Lavine becomes the 2nd best player as he should be on a contending team. Demar and Vuc are good 3rd/4th best guys. Alex is a lock down defender. It’d be a fun year. It won’t happen and we’ll contend for a play-in spot, but it’d be fun if it did
