I understand that teams in these contracts are paying for future production, not past production. If I’m going to give you like $100M, I’d like to have some past production. Patrick Williams has done some stuff, but like that’s just… if that’s the number, if that ends up being true and the Vassell deal ends up being the comp that his agents go to, that’s a lot of cheese.

Unfortunately, the whole point is to take your young players, draft some more, pick up a reclamation project or two, and get the shit kicked out of you for a while.

PWill is someone they should be building around and they owe at least their 2025 FRP to the Spurs with fairly light protections.

If they can get value for their mid3, they might be able to ignite a rebuild, but its going to be a long one and will depend on someone coughing up picks for Demar, Levine and Vuc...
