Just like…. Wtf dude??? I genuinely think he could win an MVP before his rookie contract is up
Nov 8th 2023. How many years is a rookie contract , 5 years ? I believe it man. His defense alone puts him in the MVP consideration one day. It’s crazy how he’s making these 6’8, 6’9 guys look so small. I’ve never seen Klay get his shot blocked before. Before he got to the league, I felt it would be challenging for him to play against bigger stronger guys like Giannis, Embiid, Joker, etc. He hasn’t played Giannis yet, not sure about Embiid.
But I’ve seen that he gets pushed a little in the post area, wants he gets stronger , there’s no stopping him at all. He’ll be one of those players that you know you can’t stop. He’s the real definition of a 2K created player.
I have 0 statistics on this, but aren't most MVPs on the top teams though? It was a big deal when Westbrook won because that was rare and I highly doubt the Spurs will be a top team over the next few years (well highly unlikely, it would have to be some big free agent moves). I mean if you think about it if Luka has a really good year this year but things fall apart with Kyrie and they don't make the playoffs again or barely make it, he won't be considered.
Well the thing is I think Wemby will be so good that a core of him, Vassell and Sochan will be good enough to be a playoff lock by next year
Will they be a 1, 2 or worst 3 seed though? Most MVPs are on of the top teams not a 5 seed or even 4 seed
It honestly feels like if he stays healthy the only question is how many MVPs he’ll win. He doesn’t seem real.
