Pascal Siakam and Fred VanVleet

After 2019 a lot of people thought those two wouldn’t be able to handle the pressure of leading a team, and yet both became All-Stars and proven winning pieces on a contending team.

Sure they’re not the mega-watt superstar who can win a ring alone, but for a 27th pick and undrafted FA, not too shabby boys. Not too shabby at all.

For me it was Pascal after his very first g-league stint during his rookie year. All of a sudden he was putting the ball on the floor and hitting jumpers when previously he was used as a Biyombo clone.

I saw then his ceiling was much higher than I thought
