After silently judging as I scrolled through posts riddled with hot takes from 5 years ago I thought...

What are your hottest takes about how the NBA will look 5 years from now? (Go wild with your guesses, nobody will be judging you......)

My hot takes are

  1. Josh Giddy will be in the MVP race
  2. The Booklyn Nets will have either made or won the finals due to Bridges and Ben Simmons showing out
  3. LeBron will continue to refuse to retire, while still putting up 18/4/4. And will blame it on wanting to play with his wife's uncles barbers daughters stepson 17 years from now.

  • The NBA will be on Amazon. The fee will be reasonable.
  • LBJ has retired and the new stars just don't feel exciting (a lot more parity). The age of limelight via a Slam Magazine are gone.
  • OKC will trade for a super duper star in a gigantic first round picks + Giddey trade to start a teams rebuilding (Like Giannis, Zion or Anthony Davis) which will shake up the type-of-market rhetoric
  • Harden will open his own club chain - the beard (Strip Club + concert venue)
  • Jokic will retire or play for a Serbian Club he owns in expansion. Sambor Shires ๐Ÿด
  • Doncic will still not have a championship, unfortunately.
  • Victor will have some issue that will have him play 50 game seasons
  • Mourning is the new Riley. Spo is the new Mourning. Haslem is the coach. Still defending their way to the finals just to lose.
  • Boston fans will still be annoying (Sorry)
  • /NBA will be more toxic
