A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.

This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.

Occasionally, in our photography, we encounter moments with challenging lighting or have to capture quick snaps. Despite a promising photo, clarity may be lacking. What's the best approach for this situation? Adjusting lighting and exposure or utilizing third-party apps? I'm a beginner in this field, so forgive any errors in this post. Your guidance is much appreciated.

Every photo is different and the techniques will be different depending on the source and the desired output. Generally, I work 90% in Adobe Lightroom and the rest in Photoshop.
