The NBA is being investigated by the United States Department of Justice over allegations the league attempted to sabotage Ice Cube’s Big3 league, according to TMZ Sports. The league has denied the allegations.

Ice Cube and Big3 co-founder Jeff Kwatinetz have met with Department of Justice lawyers regarding concerns the NBA may have engaged in anticompetitive behavior.

The allegations include the NBA interfering with sponsorship deals, discouraging television networks from broadcasting games, and making arbitrary rules to prevent players from joining the league, despite the NBA and Big3 seasons not overlapping.

The report also claims Big3 officials believe they have been “unfairly targeted by the NBA” and sources in the story say NBA owners have been discouraged from investing in Ice Cube’s league.

NBA spokesman Mike Bass told TMZ the allegations were “not true”.

“We have been supportive of the Big3 since its inception, but we declined to invest.”

The NBA would face a substantial fine if found guilty.

I mean I actually get that, you wanna be the “leader of the free world “ head of the most powerful country on earth you better be working at that all 4 to 8 years. I don’t ever wanna see you on vacation.

So you want someone who’s completely stressed out overworked to be banned from recreation while they lead the country for 4 to 8 years?

That’s an awful idea.

We have two aircraft carriers and their fleets (no other country has more than two in total), we’ve had 5 attacks on our bases in the Middle East, we are getting so much reconnaissance that Iran wants war.

If Biden doesn’t take a break now he’ll be worked to death between the war and election.

Perhaps taking a break allows his mind to critically think better.

Works for me quite often

Also, he was literally just on the ground in Israel and we have things called "cell phones" that let you stay connected everywhere.

…. And? Do you think a successfully run government is incapable of running itself unless the president is actively involved 24/7? Do you really think it’s impossible to have Biden, I don’t know, delegate those duties out to someone else while he’s busy? Just spit-balling here, but perhaps a Vice President?

Presidents have been dealing with crisis since forever and they still take vacations. Expecting otherwise is the definition of silliness.
