I love seeing the NBA, after a while of running away from their cultural ties to hip hop, embrace it more fully over the last few years. I wouldn't say there's no NBA without hip hop but unquestionably hip hop has woven itself through the culture of this league for a long time and that's something that should be acknowledged.
