You could see how much it meant to him to have the fans singing his name during the post match interview, after all the stick he’s been given. It’s great to see him have a resurgence, and long may it continue.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't just United fans criticizing him, especially recently. Everyone in the sport has been shitting on him for so long.

Yeah but shitting on your rivals players when they’re doing bad is part of the game shitting on your own players when they’re doing bad is just being a bad supporter

Rashford gets criticized. De gea got criticized. Bruno does get criticized. It's the life of a footballer. Equal praise and equal criticisms. The criticisms Maguire has gotten is well and truly deserved. Just because he's playing well NOW doesn't erase YEARS of bad performance.
