Did max players themselves lead this charge? They did not go on strike. This is the agreed upon amount for their services based on the CBA.

The amount is extreme, yes but it’s not like the top players in the league went on strike and forced the owners to agree to this deal at gunpoint.

I’m never going to fault a a worker for not sacrificing his future health at their own detriment to benefit the owne and fans. The NBA could have taken steps to lower the number of games as well as eliminating back to backs, their response? An in game season tournament lol
