It's interesting that despite MJ obviously having a huge ego himself he's never actually openly called himself the GOAT while LeBron has several times
This is even despite the fact that I think MJ still has the 65/35ish or 70/30ish edge among general NBA fandom as well as NBA players and if LeBron retired tomorrow MJ would still be ranked 1 on the majority of released "top 10 players" lists 10-15 years from now

70/30?? I say that I consider Jordan and LeBron 1a and 1b and people act like I said beer sucks. It’s like 95-5 at poker tables in Vegas.
It’s much more like 80/20 and that’s generous.
Whats crazy.. MJ has probably like an 80/20 edge vs Lebron amongst Lebrons current and former teammates he won rings with... let that sink in..
