If a source you used was already posted by someone else, the autoMod will leave a message. Please remove your post if the autoMod is correct. If the post that matches your post is very old, we refer you to rule 5.


8. Misinformation is prohibited.


Misinformation / propaganda is strictly prohibited. Any comment or post containing or linking to misinformation will be removed. If you feel that your post has been removed in error, credible sources must be provided.


9. No link shorteners.


The auto mod will contact you if a link shortener is detected, please delete your post if they are right.


10. Don't copy entire article in your post body


For copyright reasons, you are not allowed to copy an entire article into your post body. This is an instance wide rule, that is strictly enforced in this community.

Three students — including the shooter — were being treated at the hospital for gunshot wounds. The fourth student took themselves to the hospital with injuries sustained while escaping the high school and fleeing to a nearby elementary school.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s office said the alleged shooter was a 16-year-old male and suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

Sure, I know Switzerland does. I'm sure many other countries do. The only difference is, it's heavily regulated.

You can keep your gun in Switzerland after finishing the mandatory military service. But the rules are still very strict

Yup, that's why I said it's heavily regulated. Outside of former military, the only people who really own firearms, are avid hunters. And even then, they're very particular as to how they transport and carry them. I think it's a model the US could embrace. But that would also require rectifying underlying societal issues such as, inequality, healthcare, etc.
