does a small amount of sweat corrosion on the drivers from being sweated on for a while not impact longevity of the drivers in the long run as long as they're still functional and the individual doesn't sweat on them again in the future?

If they still work and sound the same, you can assume they are fine and have not been damaged.

Preeeetty much. I used to sleep with my headphones on, various pairs of dynamics. Only this year did I notice that one ear on my last pair was starting to go, which mangled the whole soundstage.
