Ppg numbers have gone up a lot as we all know - you have a lot more 20/30ppg players compared to the 2000s. But we don’t see the same trend in assists? Usually its still less than 5 players avg >10 assists in a season, similar to the 2000s. And we’re in a much less iso heavy, more ball movement style of game. Is it just that assists have been distributed more equally amongst players nowadays rather than it being the PG being primary distributor?
