I have a somewhat beginner camera canon EOS rebel T7 and will be traveling to NYC this weekend. What are some tips for safely photographing? I’m of course a little worried about getting my camera stolen or damaged and wasn’t sure if there are some recommendations on what to do and not to do. We will be in the Manhattan area and one night in Brooklyn (Williamsburg area)

Renters insurance is pretty cheap monthly and it will cover stolen/broken camera and lenses even if it happens outside of your apartment. With Lemonade I can pay a dollar and change more a month for "extra coverage" so I don't have to pay the deductible.

Ooo thank you I forgot to look into that for cameras. Obviously I have other renters insurance but honestly forgot about it, thanks!
