Renters insurance is pretty cheap monthly and it will cover stolen/broken camera and lenses even if it happens outside of your apartment. With Lemonade I can pay a dollar and change more a month for "extra coverage" so I don't have to pay the deductible.

That's for you to figure out. Find a model and ask how much they charge, look up clothing prices etc... It's your vision, start working for it
