I bought the hype in 2018 when the Colts were going to hire him. He spent several years rehabilitating his image, reputable people were vouching for him, etc. And I thought we could make it work with him, Ballard, and Luck.

And then he pulled his 11th hour stunt, and it was clear to me that he's not the kind of guy that should run a major operation.

The Raiders have other challenges, so it's probably not all on McDaniels, but yeah, he's not a good HC.

Looking around the league it's amazing how quickly those other challanges tend to fade away if you find a great HC.
