Do you really think this community is so very active that you need to segregate content like that?

A lot of community users asked us to split out the content about a year ago since the political vids were dominating the feed.

We put it to a vote and let the community decide how they wanted us to handle political videos since Lemmy doesn’t allow us to tag.

So all history videos have to go to the political Community then?

It’s definitely not a perfect science, there is a lot of stuff that sits in a gray area, we can’t watch every video, and we’re just couple of volunteers who are trying to do what the broader community asked for help with.

That said, we’re open to iteration if you have ideas on how to refine.
