I picked world bc I was told it would have the most activity. Since joining Lemmy I have been repeatedly harassed by men on this instance, threatened with murder and rape by users including open Nazis (this was also happening on Reddit), and permabanned for being a woman, for being a feminist, and for not breaking any rules and posting factual news sources. Would like a better instance.
Have been considering solarpunk Lemmy but willing to consider other instances, just not sure

During the early 20th century, women were thought to be unfit for politics as their biology made them prone to hysteria. The suffrage movement became linked to hysteria and mental disorder, due to propaganda from the press and the government (Iglikowski-Broad, 2018). Attempts at militancy in their pursuit for equality were branded as hysteria by anti-suffrage supporters, demonstrating how use of mental health could be used to belittle the efforts of the women at the time (Thompson, 2016).
I'm not trying to be rude either tbh. That said I don't see the danger here that you see. If russia and china are spending money on influence operations on lemmy it's manifestly a waste of resources. There's platforms out there with way more reach and that's why states like the US and Israel are so obsessed with controlling those platforms.
I can appreciate not liking the way people here behave, I do generally encourage people who don't like the vibe to avoid it.
5th gen warfare is dangerous and effective. The point is to create waves of conversation that stack up like a rogue wave in the ocean and flood information systems and thoughts so real information can't be deciminated and real progress cannot be achieved, and also for monetary gain in ways you may not expect, including crypto.

There are obvious phrases - the last big one was the Cracker Barrel logo change whixh waa found to be almost entirely bot (aka human slave as most bots are human slaves) driven. Conveniently, this allowed them to short Cracker Barrel and make money btw, while also holding them for ransom unless they can pony up money and fall in line.
If you dislike fascism, this is blatant fascism. It's an issue. Not least due to the human slave component and how it has successfully been used to overthrow democracies and human rights worldwide. It's as serious as taking a bullet.
I have family members who are sort of the equivalent of having died, they have unrecognizable political positions and aren't themselves anymore. The person that existed was gone and the person in their place only understands and talks about the 5th gen buzzword phrases. Breaking them out of this cult fever is extremely difficult and takes a lot of references to values and things they once loved... And then they think of the buzzword phrase and snap right back into the 5th gen warfare propaganda.
We probably both think the Gazan people deserve food, right? But a lot of those "fundraisers" to give them food and accounts are literally 5th gen warfare stealing money to harm Gazans. That shit is not benign, it is killing people. It is serious af.
Frankly I was here to give people educational info and a warning about WW3 and US civil war that seem imminent, along with global human trafficking involved in these orgs (Assad, Andrew Tate, Trump, Putin, etc etc etc). I was trying to get people to not starve and to build uo stores of gold and silver (you can get silver from collecting most silver colored US coins printed before 1964). I no longer care to keep warning people here. Either they know or they don't. Either they understand the financial component or they don't. I am just one person fighting against slave armies. It's up to them to have wisdom and discretion.
It is now time for me to move on and make progress with like minded people who can do so. I do not have time to educate on the basics of basics anymore- that has passed. No more time.
