A place to politely discuss the tools, technique and culture of photography.
This is not a good place to simply share cool photos/videos or promote your own work and projects, but rather a place to discuss photography as an art and post things that would be of interest to other photographers.

Use your phone or camera to take raw-format images. If you don’t have this ability, then that is okay because you can still learn a lot with a high quality JPEG or TIF file.
Go on YouTube and search “how to edit ___ images” and “how to edit images on Lightroom (or Photoshop).” If you take landscape, people, etc., doesn’t matter. This will give you an idea of the style and thought process that experienced photographers and editors use and how to use that program and the tools available to you.
Use either Lightroom or Photoshop to practice. Be aware of beginner mistakes and “overcooking” your images. When it comes down to it, you just have to learn and practice.
Have fun
