Whatever catches your eye man.....
The weird reality is, for non watch nerds (which is 99% of people), the only brand they probably recognize as expensive is Rolex. So if care about what other people think, it really only comes down to Rolex or nothing.
I mean maybe I'm missing something. I really don't get why a Rolex is all that. I mean it's ok, but why is it worth so much? Like, I've bought cars for less than what they want for a watch. Its is just name brand? I mean, for 5-700 bucks you can get a damn nice piece. Why is a Rolex worth so dang much?
The price of a Rolex is too dang high!
99% of people simply don’t care for watches, so they only know 1 premium brand.
It’s like going up to a bunch of people who don’t build PCs, asking them “name me all you motherboard brands you know” and they’ll sheepishly say “uhh, Intel?” Or people who don’t fish and ask “name me all the fishing rod brands you know” and get back a sheepish “uhh, shimano?”
If you ask people “name me all the luxury watch brands you know” you’ll get Rolex, and mayyyybbee Omega. The average person doesn’t know more than 3 luxury watch brands haha
