Oh, I was aware of this, just didn't know it had made international news. Statue was decided to stay despite the whole thing. And yeah, the sculptors are macho cunts in the vein of Andrew Tate but I wouldn't have classed them as fascist propagandists. But the shoe fits, tbh, you're right.
they are affiliated with the far right, and the qualities in their propaganda match literl neo-Nazi propaganda videos I have seen: men working in plains-clothes doing manual labor, in this case glorifying the Christian West, expressing a kind of cultural / identitarian supremacy that is common with Islamophobes and racists.
