Its funny that churros are so synonymous with San Antonio but as someone who is from here I don't see many people eating them or even places that sell them.

I've never heard of churros being synonymous with San Antonio. I figured churros are just everywhere if you're anywhere near the border. I just moved to Phoenix, and they're definitely all over the place here. Parking lots, golf carts, random corner lots. Damn near every restaurant has them

I mean it’s been a decade of Chuck clowning San Antonio. They had enough time to become a churro city

It's the same for us Belgians and waffles. Only kids and tourists eat waffles. Haven't had one in 5 years or something. Fries, beer and chocolate on the other hand...

I had a couple at the pulga last month. I had never seen caramel ones, but tbh they weren't as good as the regular
